Job Description

The incumbent will work under the supervision of a Foreman and Regional Supervisor and is responsible for supporting the business through providing technical support in the form of roof audits, Tremcare (maintenance) completion, diagnostic scanning, Job Site Inspections, patch and repair work, troubleshooting and business support activities.  The incumbent will work primarily in the Greater Vancouver Area.

This position requires a Journeyman Roofer Certification or experience in lieu along with Valid Driver’s License and access to a vehicle.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Roof maintenance and perform warranty inspections.
  • Conduct diagnostic roof scans, including thermographic and capacitance.
  • Verify results of scan.
  • Prepare reports for customer / Sales Reps.
  • Assess and fix leaks (applies to warranties and Tremcare contracts)
  • Act as a liaison between Sales Rep and customer
  • Abide by all safety rules and procedures

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of roofing experience
  • Grade 12 Diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to read, write and speak in English
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis
  • Able to operate in an area where there is heat, noise, dirt & dust
  • Computer knowledge would be an asset
  • Must be willing to travel in British Columbia, including staying overnight(s).
  • Must be willing to work flexible hours, especially in the summer months
