Tremco CPG  represents the combined power of Dryvit Systems, Nudura Inc., Willseal and Tremco Incorporated’s Commercial Sealants & Waterproofing and Roofing & Building Maintenance divisions, along with affiliates Weatherproofing Technologies (WTI) and Weatherproofing Technologies Canada.

The Human Resources (HR) Generalist reports to the Director of Human Resources and supports a talent-driven culture by identifying and acquiring top talent, coordinating OE/HR processes, developing talent, building competencies, scheduling and delivering performance management programs and philosophies, assisting with employee relations concerns, ensuring employment law compliance and maintaining accurate HRIS metrics and analytics.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:   

  • Maintains HRIS system including entering new employees, updating employee accounts, maintaining system changes and ensuring continuity with company and corporate set-up.  Reviews, tracks and approves routine salary changes to ensure consistency and appropriateness
  • Interfaces with Payroll and Finance departments to prepare and deliver weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports in accordance with established timelines for both Dryvit and Nudura payrolls.
  • Addresses and resolves employee issues and/or concerns across all levels.
  • Develops, analyzes and maintains accurate job descriptions, job analysis questionnaires, salary grades and bonus eligibility for all CS&W positions.  Ensures consistency across North America and that job tracker and library is accurately maintained.  Coordinate new job codes as appropriate.
  • Assists managers with creating career paths, ladders, hierarchies for their departments.
  • Supports recruitment efforts for exempt and nonexempt personnel including but not limited to guiding the requisition process, posting open positions, screening candidates, conducting/scheduling interviews, making offers, reference checking, etc. Ensures compliance with the talent acquisition process and effectively manages communication with candidates, managers, and related internal departments.
  • Identifies and participates in building and maintaining an internal/external talent pipeline. Attends networking events, job fairs, school recruiting and other related activities to promote and represent the company.
  • Guides new hires through the on-boarding process, including but not limited to pre-employment requirements, new hire documents, orientation, initial training/orientation, system access, etc.
  • Ensures timely compliance with employee off-boarding including but not limited to exit interviews, benefit terminations, systems access, return of property, etc.
  • Organizes and tracks performance management, merit increase and annual bonus process.
  • Maintains company and employee information
  • Participates in ongoing employee development
  • Assists with day to day administrative, reporting and organizational tasks
  • Organizes reward and recognition strategies, events, etc.
  • Ensures compliance with Federal, State and Local employment laws.
  • Utilizes available technology systems to create, develop and run reports in accordance with established schedules and upon request.
  • Provides general human resources assistance on company acquisition and integration initiatives and priorities.
  • Other duties as assigned.

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university in Human Resources Management, Business Management, Psychology or related field
  • General knowledge of compensation benchmarking and understanding of market rates.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and collaboration skills.
  • Experience using cloud-based HRIS system, prefer experience implementing new systems or modules
  • Knowledge and experience with various HR systems – Taleo, Kronos, ADP, Oracle  
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, clear and professional communication skills, efficient time management, initiative, and critical thinking skills are a must.
  • Escalates issues/concerns as appropriate
  • Ability to travel as needed.

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:

  • SHRM-CP or PHR a plus
  • Bilingual, Spanish speaking preferred
