Tremco CPG represents the combined power of Dryvit Systems, Nudura Inc., Willseal and Tremco Incorporated’s Commercial Sealants & Waterproofing and Roofing & Building Maintenance divisions, along with affiliates Weatherproofing Technologies (WTI) and Weatherproofing Technologies Canada.

Tremco Sealants & Waterproofing Division has an open position for a National Sales Manager primarily responsible for strategic management of “Big Box” national retail accounts.  This entails developing executive relationships with key personnel as well as the merchant buyers.  The primary responsibilities will include the development and execution of a comprehensive strategic plan to drive sales and profitability for Retail Big Box business.  The plan should include detailed tactics required to meet strategic objectives, which ultimately lead to sales growth, market penetration, and share gain.  Additional responsibilities will include coordinating with the DAP; Rust-Oleum and CPG teams to coordinate and execute strategic and tactical alignments. This individual will also be handling crisis management and resolution.  It is also expected that this individual will be deployed to assist in the facilitation of sales training programs, as well as corporate base projects.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Achieve Revenue and profit objectives
  • Increased sales/shelf share
  • Manage account profitability and service performance
  • Drive merchandising and POP initiatives
  • Foster and enhance executive and buyer relationships
  • Development and execution of account strategic plan
  • Effectively manage and work closely with the Category Management group, Logistical teams, Brand group, Trade Marketing Manager, Customer Service, and Finance to deliver the Big Box sales plan and execute the expected service levels required.
  • Build and maintain new and existing relationships with Big Box merchants and management
  • Drive the implementation of marketing campaigns with the Marketing Communication team to meet business objectives and generate leads/opportunities/orders.
  • Direct and support market research initiatives including the collection, analysis, and interpretation of market data for short- and long-term market forecasts and reports
  • Partner with Tremco CPG and Retail leadership to align sales and marketing strategies
  • Manage marketing budget and expenditures
  • Execute and maintain Tremco CPG brand standards and ensure compliance across all marketing and communications channels
  • Identify competitors and evaluate their strategies and positioning and devise counterstrategies
  • Contribute to the development and execution of meaningful Balanced Scorecard KPI’s and Customer Satisfaction indices for the business
  • Direct the generation of sales tools including paper-based, web-based materials, and electronic tools
  • Control spending at levels defined by the annual operating plan

EDUCATION:

Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university

EXPERIENCE:

  • More than 10 years’ Sales Management or National Account Management experience required preferably with direct buying, multiple location retailer chains (“Big Box retail”)
  • Experience must include national account management, category management, forecasting, and the development of marketing programs.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time is required.
