Office Manager / Plant Administrator

We are currently seeking an Office Manager / Plant Administrator for our Roofing Division plant.  This position is accountable and responsible for payroll, filing, ordering, receiving purchase orders & processing invoices, reporting and tracking, purchasing expensed Items. Site coordination with HR and Corporate as needed. Coordinate and maintain data integrity of plant data for plant operations.

Duties/Responsibilities, Core knowledge:

  • Site administration, payroll and HR processing, including daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly & annual, as required.
  • Use DAKOTA Software as the compliance tool for the site.
  • Reporting and tracking to maintain documentation, audit, update, format, report, print as required.
  • Compile, sort and verify accuracy of data; locate, correct and analyze data entry for errors.
  • Maintain SAP Data including: Accounting Mfg. Expense, ISO Documents, MSDS, P&CA, Purchase Orders and Quality.
  • Open, sort & distribute incoming correspondence, including faxes & email.
  • File & retrieve corporate/divisional documents, personnel records & reports.
  • Perform general office duties such as ordering supplies, maintaining records management systems & performing basic accounting/bookkeeping work using ReadSoft system.
  • Available as backup for plant purchasing as needed

Skills, Qualifications, Experience, Special Physical Requirements:

  • High school diploma a must. Some college education a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a unionized manufacturing or plant environment.
  • Literate in use of SAP, accounting, word processing, database & spreadsheet software.
  • Performing day-to-day clerical & administrative tasks such as maintaining information files & processing paperwork in a proactive manner.
  • Must be very detailed oriented.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, effective team player, self-motivated, quick learner.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to read, write and communicate fluently in English.
