Web Applications Developer

This position advises and supports the company’s various teams (IT, Marketing, Business, etc.) in designing, developing and deploying its web-enabled applications.  This person works directly with these team members on matters related to web-enabled applications architecture and functionality. 

The majority of the time spent involves hands-on design and development work.

Technical Skills Required for this Position:

  • HTML, CSS and JavaScript
  • Knowledge of XML/XHTML
  • Basic .NET / ASP.NET programming
  • Basic Visual Studio skills using Git for TFS
  • Basic SQL Server skills – tables, stored procedures, t-sql
  • Basic relational database design
  • Website Stats Analysis
  • Basic Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Basic Adobe Acrobat

Technical Skills Desired for the Position:

  • Advanced CSS
  • Advanced JavaScript
  • Responsive Design
  • Web service development for SOA (service-oriented architecture)
  • Intermediate .NET / ASP.NET 3.5 programming
  • Intermediate knowledge of AJAX technology and toolkits (jQuery)
  • Intermediate database experience
  • HTML5 / CSS3 experience a plus


  • Minimum 1- 4 years working in web design and development
  • 1 – 2 years programming experience in JavaScript, .NET, or similar technologies


  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent work experience) in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or similar discipline
