Tremco CPG represents the combined power of Dryvit Systems, Nudura Inc., Willseal and Tremco Incorporated’s Commercial Sealants & Waterproofing and Roofing & Building Maintenance divisions, along with affiliates Weatherproofing Technologies (WTI) and Weatherproofing Technologies Canada.

Tremco Sealants & Waterproofing Division has an open position for a Director of Pricing and Analytics  to collaborate with various stakeholders within the CSW business including business leaders and analysts to deliver insights that will optimize pricing and profitability, enable realization of deal desk, and drive margin expansion. This position partners with and guides the VP of Market Segments and Sales leadership to establish business and customer segment-specific pricing strategies which are in line with their margin growth strategies. The Pricing and Analytics Director is expected to build a world-class pricing operating model that can sustain these benefits longer term.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maximize margins by partnering with Sales leaders and leveraging internal experts to develop customer segment specific pricing strategies that incent profitable behaviors and are in line with their business growth strategy.
    • Recommend and implement optimal pricing strategies (Customer segmentation, go-to-market models, service levels and channel strategy, deal strategy and price book management) that are specific to various customer segments and profit pools within the business.
    • Identify and recommend short term pricing plays leveraging geographic specific supply demand scenarios with key raw materials and impacted finished product lines as well as leveraging competitive situations factoring in competitive intelligence.
    • Customize pricing strategies considering fixed and variable cost structures of the different manufacturing assets and relevant product lines.
  • Deliver pricing targets through relentless pricing execution and maintaining tight pricing discipline working with CS&W’s key stakeholders.
    • Deal Desk: Establish clear rules, processes and tools including price book management to guide pricing and contracting negotiations working with the businesses to maximize margins and long-term benefits.
    • Orchestrate price planning process to develop detailed execution plans on pricing factoring in contracts, competitive scenarios, value delivery, inflation and implementation risks.
    • Monitor, track and report progress in pricing execution and develop action plans to leverage new developments and mitigate new risks.
  • Drive pricing discipline and prevent margin leakage by establishing and refining a simplified and standard pricing structure.
    • Maintain strict business rules for pricing and work with businesses to track and monitor compliance and corrective actions on violations.
    • Drive pricing discipline through managing strict adherence to price quoting and discounting processes, price books, approval authorities.
    • Leverage internal key stakeholders for advance analytics of pocket margin (pricing waterfall) and other key margin KPIs.
    • Empower Salesforce via the job pricing scorecard to drive higher pricing based on peer-group data.  Build and leverage a competitive intelligence database that guides businesses on pricing strategies and associated risks of actions.
    • Upgrade and optimize analytics models for businesses (Calculators, P&L models, Price Models, etc.) and the creation and optimization of dashboards around price volume and mix management.
  • Drive alignment between pricing and product management/marketing through tight partnership with the product management teams to:
    • Revamp and simplify pricing structure from current hybrid component/system so price management and changes are easier.
    • Maintain and update price books while driving standardized price setting processes and communication to businesses.

EDUCATION:

Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university

EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum 10 years of relevant quantitative analytics experience and exposure to pricing processes required
  • Experience in Chemical and Industrial Product Manufacturing plants preferred

  • Knowledge of advanced data mining and six sigma methods is a plus
