Job Description

Tremco's Commercial Sealants and Waterproofing division is currently searching for a Facade Restoration Sales Specialist in the Chicago, IL area. The Facade Restoration Sales Specialist initiates and supports the sales process of the recommended Tremco solution of products/systems for the renovation and restoration of existing building facades and structures.

Duties and Responsibilities include:

  • Act as a subject matter expert on Spectrem Restoration Overlay and other key façade restoration focus products for both internal and external key stake holders.
  • Utilize strong client management and professional selling skills to drive placement of Tremco products and systems into existing buildings and/or structures.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key property owners and managers throughout the region to educate them on Tremco’s restoration system offerings.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key network restoration consultants throughout the region.
  • Develop and maintain an active portfolio of network approved contractors to install Tremco’s restoration systems and products.
  • Keep track of key activities, project status and customers in Tremco’s Salesforce.com platform.
  • Coordinate mock-ups and installation efforts on facade restoration projects within the region.
  • Partner with local sales representatives, as required, to assist in closing the sale.
  • Attend industry association (BOMA and/or IFMA) meetings on a regular basis.
  • Support the Spectrem Restoration Overlay Program in managing a network of contractors and consultants, developing leads, as well as, maintaining customer relationships.

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field

​EXPERIENCE:

  • 3+ years' experience in a sales-related field

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

  • Valid driver's license

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Ability to travel up to 75% within assigned region.
  • Proven time management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage and excel in both on-on-one and group sales presentations.

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:

  • CRM experience (SalesForce.com) is an asset.
  • Requires having a flexible work schedule; frequent travel with work on evenings and weekends when necessary.
