Job Description

Tremco's Commercial Sealants and Waterproofing division is currently searching for a Glazing Restoration Specialist in the Metro NYC or Northern New Jersey area. The Glazing Restoration Specialist is responsible for the following:

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

The Glazing Restoration Specialist supports the sales process of the Spectrum Gasket Overlay within the Restoration network.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist Restoration Network Coordinator in managing the network in developing leads, as well as maintaining customer relationships.
  • Coordinate samples, mock-ups, and installation efforts on major products within the region.
  • Utilize strong client management and professional selling skills to the identification and placement of product solution to existing and potential customers.
  • Partner with Sales Representatives to assist in closing the sale.
  • Coordinator with Technical Services team by relaying technical questions and concerns regarding the product.
  • Schedule and conduct training with customers.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on Spectrum Gasket Overlay.

EDUCATION

  • B.S. in Construction Management, Engineering, or similar.

EXPERIENCE

  • 3-5 years in a Sales related field.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

  • Valid Driver’s License.

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Ability to travel up to 75% within assigned region.
  • Proven time management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage and excel in both one-on-one and group sales presentations.

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:

  • CRM experience (SalesForce.com) is an asset.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Job-Site visits require frequent walking, climbing, carrying samples, and being on swing stages.

WORK EnVIRONMENT

  • Frequent job-site visits give regular exposure to weather elements, machinery, and loud noises.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

  • Requires having a flexible work schedule; frequent travel with work on evenings and weekends when necessary.
