HRIS DATA ANALYST

The HRIS Data Analyst is responsible for performing related tasks at a professional level.  This position may carry out responsibilities in all functional areas of Human Resources, however, specialized focus will be on the maintenance, support, and improvements of all Human Resources Management Systems and compliance issues. 

Duties/Responsibilities, Core knowledge:

  • Enters, maintains, audits, and validates all HRIS data.
  • Analyze data flow for process improvement and recommend solutions to improve efficiencies.
  • Technical point of contact for reports and data extraction.
  • Lead technical HRMS implementations and upgrades.
  • Assist in determining department needs as they pertain to the HR Management Systems.
  • Monitor and maintain HRMS systems to ensure proper operation and reporting thereby resolving (working with the vendor and/or internal technical support) application, network or hardware issues that present problems for our users
  • Trains end-users on all Human Resources Management Systems.
  • Manages I-9 compliance including collecting forms and entering into E-Verify system.
  • Compete Affirmative Action Plan Reporting and Data Analysis.
  • Provide EEO1 and Vets 100 reports.
  • Assist with Benefits Open Enrollment to ensure the most efficient process.
  • Accountable for the Year-end Employee Merit and Bonus process.
  • Conduct job analysis and create, modify, and maintain job descriptions.
  • Oversee and administer unemployment.
  • Complete employment verifications.
  • Maintain employee personnel files.
  • May have responsibility in Employee Relations, Benefits, Compensation, and Organizational/Employee Development when needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned and participate in team projects as required.

Skills, Qualifications, Experience, Special Physical Requirements:

  • 5 + years’ experience in Human Resources with a strong HRIS administration background
  • Must have advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office      
  • Kronos, Oracle and Taleo administration experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and legal requirements.
  • Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Must be able to present to small groups when needed. Must have prior experience conducting training or the strong willingness to do so.
  • Must be detail oriented with excellent follow up and proofreading skills.
  • Must be innovative and look for ways to make continual improvements in the HR processes that flow between HR, Recruiting and other departments.
  • Must demonstrate problem solving skills
  • Must demonstrate ability to lead projects or teams
  • Must execute high quality and high volume of work in a fast paced environment
  • HR experience related to compensation and compliance is preferred.
  • PHR preferred
