About the position:

As the Lead Admixture Production Technician, you will perform and coordinate support of day-to-day activities of plant operations related to production, procurement and customer service.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Produce and package quality products by following established procedures

  • Perform quality inspections per quality Lab procedures

  • Identify and record any problems relating to the product, process and quality system

  • Set the scheduled production requirements

  • Conduct inventory checks as required

  • Assist in the training of new employees

  • Maintain a safe and clean workplace

  • Conduct and or directs plant personnel in production planning and other related activities

  • Conduct and/or direct plant personnel in loading and unloading operations

  • Conduct and/or direct execution of inventory control functions

  • Plan and execute procurement of raw materials

  • Conduct data entry functions related to orders, inventory control, production and purchasing as required

  • Conduct and/or direct the maintenance of plant buildings and grounds

  • Monitor adherence to safety procedures

  • Coordinate customer service with production 

  • Maintain a clean and safe workplace

Education & Experience:

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)

  • 1-2 years’ work experience in Manufacturing/Operations and/or related training.

  • Language and Communication skills- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Communicates in a clear manner, ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.

  • Mathematical and Analytical skills- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

  • Problem-Solving and Reasoning skills- Ability to apply common sense understanding to situations and carry out instructions furnished in written, oral and/or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

  • Teamwork and Cooperation skills- Ability to readily share information and knowledge with others- working together, cohesively, towards a common goal. Creating a positive work atmosphere, and supporting each other to combine individual strengths to enhance team performance
