Job Description

      Tremco’s Commercial Sealants and Waterproofing Division is seeking a Production Manager in our Cincinnati, Ohio office.


  • Promotes and maintains a safety culture in all installation activities.
  • Works with Contracting Services Manager to determine staffing requirements.
  • Hires, trains and develops all installation employees
  • Works with the Technical Sales Rep(s) to understand customer expectations and job specific requirements.
  • Ensures customer expectations and requirements are communicated to the installation crews.
  • Work with Account Representative to confirm job readiness. Sets daily schedule and adjusts as needed to meet customer needs while maximizing efficiency.
  • Manages and approves all expenses.
  • Ensures spending is consistent with the plan.
  • Works with Contracting Services Manager to adjust spending as needed, based on year to date results.
  • Works with the Contracting Services Manager to establish pay rates for all activities which includes calculating pay daily for all installation employees based on work produced.
  • Ensures adequate inventory is on hand to complete work. Reports inventory monthly
  • Properly and safely manages the production operations at facility and on job sites.
  • Works with the Contracting Services Manager to determine the trucks and equipment required to effectively and profitably operate the business.
  • Properly maintains the trucks and equipment to ensure work is completed on schedule and to the satisfaction of the customers. 
  • Works with the Contracting Services Manager to establish quality and efficiency benchmarks for all tasks.
  • Works with Quality Assurance Rep to ensure that quality and efficiency is inspected, measured and reported.
  • Demonstrates a commitment to diversity in hiring and promotion decisions.
  • Effectively and efficiently on-boards new employees.
  • Conducts annual performance evaluations and provides ongoing performance feedback, maintaining clear and timely documentation.
  • Coaches and manages employees using CS&W philosophy and tools to ensure talent is developed and retained.
  • Applies Tremco policies and adheres to processes to ensure compliance and organizational best practices.
  • Other duties as assigned.


  • High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED)


  • Two to fours years related experience and/or training
  • Experience in new single and/or multi-family construction segments
  • Previous experience managing a team of employees in a fleet-deployed service business


  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Highly organized with Project Management skills.
  • Ability and willingness to fill in for installation crews when/if needed. Includes ability and willingness to work outside, in an excavation site, and off a ladder, lift or roof.
  • Proficient in Excel.
  • Valid driver’s license is required.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% within territory


  • Supporting crews on work sites.
  • Must be able to work independently with limited daily interaction.
