Job Description

Tremco's Commercial Sealants and Waterproofing division is seeking a Sales Representative for the Willseal/Schul product line. The  Technical  Sales  Representative  is responsible for the coordination of sales, technical service and specifications  for the  Willseal  product line  while working with Commercial Sealants & Waterproofing (CS&W) Sales Representatives and Regional Managers.  We are looking for a competitive field sales representative to develop sales strategies and attract new clients.  This position  will source new sales opportunities and close sales  with existing customers  to achieve  sales goals . The successful candidate will play a key role in increasing income and revenue by managing and negotiating with clients, generating leads and qualifying prospects.  

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  

  • Coordinate with Sales Representatives to  d rive territory sales  and  achieve annual sales objectives through calling on existing accounts and identifying and developing new accounts. 
  • Actively  seek accounts thru project tracking  for customers that require a high degree of technical support in targeted market segment. 
  • Increase  Willseal and  Tremco’s involvement and specifications with major Architectural firms and Consultants in the  territory  and support project work. 
  • Coordinate sales efforts on major projects within the Region 
  • Present to industry organizations as a Technical resource. 

EDUCATION

  • Minimum High School Diploma or GED with 2 years’ experience in a sales role OR
  • Bachelor’s Degree and no experience, Bachelor’s in Business and sales experience preferred.

EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum High School Diploma or GED with 2 years’ experience in a sales role (sales experience must include significant experience closing deals and prospecting) OR
  • Bachelor’s Degree and no experience, Bachelor’s in Business and sales experience preferred.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

  • Ability to present in front of large groups
  • Listening skills
  • Team player with ability to work independently
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% within territory.
  • Ability to work with and train Sales Reps, Distributors, and Contractors

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:

  • List the licenses, certificates, and registrations that are required to perform the essential duties of this job.

  • Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation

  • Certified Document Technician (CDT) a plus but not required

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Strong communication skills with ability to present ideas clearly and concisely
  • Salesforce.com experience a plus

  • Suitable home office work space to conduct work
