  • Equipment used for testing
  • Key performance criteria of raw materials

Material Set Up:

  • Creation of BOM
  • Part number creation

Manufacturing:

  • Production scheduling
  • POV
  • Yield loss
  • OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness)
  • Absorption
  • Scrap
  • Small K / Employee engagement
  • Flow through entire process - 
    • Incoming raw materials
    • Production
    • Finished goods / packaging
    • Shipping

Shipping / Warehousing:

  • Incoming shipment from plants
  • Create storage location
  • Rotation of stock
  • Picking orders
  • Scheduling trucks
  • Bill of lading / paperwork
  • Tracking in warehouse management

Forecasting / Financial:

  • Developing forecast with Product Group / Sales force
  • Tracking days of inventory
  • Understanding lead times for manufacture
  • Stocking levels for various products

Financials:

  • Cost accounting
  • Setting standards for raw materials and finished goods
  • Compiling results for operations meetings
  • Tracking variances that can affect margin erosion

Order Entry:

  • Understand how orders are entered into the system from the customer
  • How we communicate delivery
  • How we can track orders in system
  • How we handle quality / shipment issues (PCA's)
  • Warranty

Production Installation:

  • WTI Training for Roof (OSHA 10 hour)
  • Observe installation of product
  • Go through final inspection checklist
