Job Description

Tremco's Commercial Sealants and Waterproofing (CS&W) division is seeking a Sustainable Building Solutions (SBS) Test Facility Manager at our Mameco Chemical plant in Cleveland, Ohio. The SBS Test facility Manager is responsible for understanding the testing methodology, performance evaluation process, and building science behind the Tremco Commercial Sealants and Waterproofing product lines in the built environment; developing and executing on test strategies; as well as the day to day operations of the Sustainable Building Solutions Test Facility. 


  • Plan, implement and maintain Tremco’s Safety Program at the Sustainable Building Solutions Test Facility.
  • Support customer visits and events at the Sustainable Building Solutions Test Facility by presenting on concepts and systems, developing testing strategies, and providing tours of the testing capabilities.   
  • Receive and evaluate testing submissions, coordinated with Product Line Management, Technical Services, and Building Science team applicable.
  • Plan and execute testing in accordance with industry standards and/or customer requirements.
  • Ensure results for all testing are summarized and documented appropriately.  Work with Building Science Coordinator to ensure results are properly saved and communicated to all appropriate parties.
  • Work directly with BS Coordinator on the acquisition of materials and construction needs for all testing.
  • Provide guidance on code compliance and applicable testing for CS&W product lines.
  • Run WUFI assimilations as required.
  • Participate as required in Industry Associations, division meetings and Proactive Preemptive Operations Group (PPOG) projects.
  • Participate in the Mameco Safety Program
  • Manage and maintain LabView software platform.


  • BA or BS in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, Business or related field preferred. In lieu of degree, 5+ years of applying construction testing industry standards.


  • Two to five years’ experience applying construction testing industry standards


  • Proficient with Power Tools, Carpentry or Builder.
  • Working knowledge of Industry Testing Standards.
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel).


  • AutoCAD preferred but not required.
  • Thermographic imaging experience
  • WUFI Training preferred


  • Must be able to lift construction materials and use power tools.
